Indiana National Guard Danville Readiness Center Modernization

KBSO Consulting provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage technology (MEPT) design services for the addition and modernization of the National Guard Readiness Center in Danville, Indiana. The renovation and expansion of the 1950s-era Danville Armory deployed brand new MEPT systems to an outdated facility. Modern HVAC systems include high-efficiency condensing boilers, an air-cooled chiller, all-new 4-pipe fan coil units, and direct digital controls of all HVAC systems. Restroom and shower modifications were made to address accessibility concerns, and the overall design was targeted at implementing sustainable design practices. The project aims to create a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for National Guard members, fostering a fully functional and modern training facility. Through this revitalization, KBSO Consulting played a crucial role in ensuring the Readiness Center meets the evolving needs of the Indiana Army National Guard for years to come.
